Age Limit

As per the circular, the age of the applicant must be between 18 to 32 years as of 6 October 2026. Departmental candidates who have already been serving in BOF continuously for at least 2 years can apply up to 40 years. Retired members of the Armed Forces are allowed a relaxed age limit of up to 45 years for the applicable posts.

Photo and Signature Size

While filling up the application form, candidates need to scan and upload their photo and signature according to the following specifications:

  • Photo: 300 x 300 pixels, file size maximum 100KB, taken within one month before submitting the application
  • Signature: 300 x 80 pixels, file size maximum 60KB
