The National University (NU) of Bangladesh has published the exam schedule for the B.Ed and B.M.Ed (1-Year, New and Old Syllabus) 2nd Semester Examination 2025. If you’re a student waiting for this routine, here’s everything you need to know in one place — dates, subjects, timing, and important instructions from the official notice.
When Does the Exam Start?
According to the notice issued by the Controller of Examinations’ office on September 3, 2026, the 2nd semester exam will begin on September 21, 2026 (Monday) and continue through September 30, 2026 (Wednesday).
Every exam under this schedule will start at 1:30 PM (dupur 1:30), and the duration of each paper will follow the time mentioned on the individual question paper. The university has also noted that it reserves the right to change this schedule if any unavoidable situation arises — so students should keep checking the official website for updates closer to the exam dates.

Important Notes for Students
A few key instructions from the official notice that every examinee should keep in mind:
- Admit cards go live 6–7 days before the exam. Roll and registration details, along with digitally signed admit cards, will be available on the NU website: ems.nu.ac.bd. Colleges must print the admit card, attach the student’s passport-size photo, and get it signed and sealed by the principal before handing it out.
- No admit card, no exam. Students will not be allowed to sit for the exam without a properly issued and verified admit card, so it’s best not to leave this until the last moment.
- Fix errors early. If there’s any mistake on the admit card, it must be corrected before the exam start date — don’t wait until exam day to sort this out.
- Exam center fees. Out of the total fee of Tk. 600 per examinee, colleges are required to hand over Tk. 500 per student to the center in-charge, 3–4 days before the exam begins, along with a printed copy of the roll list.
Where to Check the Official Routine
Since the university has the authority to revise this schedule at any time due to unavoidable circumstances, students and college authorities are strongly advised to regularly visit the official National University website (www.nu.ac.bd) or the exam management portal (ems.nu.ac.bd) for the latest updates, admit card downloads, and any last-minute changes.
If you’re preparing for this exam, start your subject-wise preparation early, especially for the optional papers, since the choice varies by syllabus group. Good luck to everyone appearing in the B.Ed and B.M.Ed 2nd semester exams this September!
